Hannah Dee: Aberystwyth

I was on a school journey nearby, aged about 10. We went on a hike, up a huge hill next to cliffs. The path was terrifying, the cliffs were steep, the day was blue and clear but the sea was angry. I remember cresting a hill and seeing Aberystwyth laid out in front of us, looking wonderfully inviting.

I realise now we must have walked over from Clarach, and that view still takes my breath away.
